Hi, I’m Kayla!
I’m a Registered Nurse and have spent the last three years volunteering with Extra Mile Pediatrics, La Red, and One ATTA Time. Through these three incredible non-profit organizations, we help provide access to pediatric medical care and clean water in communities facing significant challenges.

Over this time, God has opened my eyes to even deeper needs — especially among children with special needs who still lack essential support.

That’s why, in 2026, I plan to launch a special needs ministry in the communities we already serve in El Salvador.

This ministry will not only meet physical needs — it will be a space where every child is seen, known, and reminded they are deeply loved.
Through both care and compassion, I hope to reflect the love of Jesus in every interaction.

Looking Ahead 2026:​

​

In 2026, I’ll spend 6+ months in El Salvador developing this special needs ministry for children in the communities we already serve​

​

• Partnering with Extra Mile Pediatrics to support clinics and create individualized developmental treatment plans with physical and speech therapists.

• Working with La Red to develop the ministry’s spiritual component and deepen relationships with local families and therapists.

• Collaborating with One ATTA Time to implement parasite treatment protocols, hygiene education, and collect data on the impact of clean water and sanitation on entire communities.
